Checklist – Make Sure Before You Submit
- Your story is original and written by you.
- Length is roughly 600–1,800 words (flexible).
- You checked spelling and readability.
- Images are .jpg / .jpeg / .png and each is ≤ 5 MB.
- Each image has a caption and photographer credit.
- Documents are .txt / .doc / .docx / .pdf and each is ≤ 5 MB.
- You included a short author bio (optional but appreciated).
- You gave your story a clear and engaging title.
- You agreed to the consent terms in the form.
How the Submission Works

I personally read every submission to see if it matches the spirit of The Best of Bodrum — genuine experiences, local insight, and originality matter most. - Editing
If your story is selected, I may make light edits for clarity, grammar, or formatting. Don’t worry — your voice and perspective will always stay intact. - Revisions or Rejection
If your story needs improvement, I may contact you to suggest changes before reconsidering it. However, if it clearly doesn’t fit The Best of Bodrum, I’ll simply inform you that it won’t be published. - Notification & Publication
Once your story is published, you’ll receive an email with the link to your article so you can share it with others.
